Brain & Development continues to develop and grow successfully from year to year, and the journal receives
increasing attention from contributors and subscribers worldwide. At present there
are more than enough papers pending print publication. However, all peer-reviewed
and accepted papers are available online as articles-in-press in ScienceDirect as
soon as author proof corrections have been incorporated; this is usually several weeks
in advance of print publication. Note that articles-in-press may be cited using the
Digital Object Identifier (DOI)—see ScienceDirect for further details. Please also
note that the heading ‘Short Communication’ in the online listing is used to describe
Case Reports and true Communications, as these article types cannot be differentiated
online in the present set-up. A new series of articles on ‘Founders of Child Neurology
in Japan’ began in 2004. We will extend this series to physicians in other regions
or countries in the near future.
