Editor-in-Chief's Address

      Brain & Development is now well established as one of the leading child neurology journals. In 1999 the manuscript inflow was sufficient, and the accepted papers were published without delay. As I commented in my last year's address, the quality of published articles and publication time are the two major criteria for evaluation of a top-standard international journal.
